Your point here is underrated. I've just crested the 110,000-word mark (yes, I keep track) which took me 161 articles. I look back at some of my earlier pieces and the writing was pretty much junk compared to what I'm doing now. Not that my current writing is gold by any means, but I've been able to make my voice, tone, and cadence much more distinct — none the least because of good editors... wink wink.
