What some businesses do remarkably well is talk more about the impact/outcomes of their philanthropic partnerships than just the money. I've been in nonprofit fundraising for decades, and my favorite collaborations with companies are the ones where we help them realize the true outcomes of their giving (not just the outputs).
So, from the company side, being able to say, "We partnered with Organization X to provide clean clothing to 150 families" goes significantly further than "We gifted $25,000 to Organization X."
