My wife just made me (understandably) get rid of a sweater I’ve had for 22 years.

That’s when I noticed the salesperson mad dogging my sneakers. Yes, they were more than a decade old and yes, they were yellowing at the tips the way anything white does when you closet it for a couple years. But otherwise, they were perfectly comfortable, perfectly wearable plain shoes.
