Michelle, you’ve reminded me of my mother’s father. Wonderful. The family always referred to him as ‘Atlas’ and it wasn’t until later I realized it wasn’t simply because he felt the weight of the world on him, but that he felt guilt about not being able to do more — his own ‘battle of Titanomachy’ of sorts.
