I've been thinking about this a lot, lately. After about 15 years in "leadership" roles I've more recently shifted much of my work towards working *with* and alongside them. There are few I've ever found for whom energy and drive are perpetually renewable resources; so many feel like they've emptied the tank before they feel any sense of accomplishment. I wish more organizations, universities, and other entities focused on building (or at the bare minimum acknowledged) this skill when people are in their 20s and even 30s. Thanks for writing!
