I like this one. My take on this is often something like "I may be a sample group of one, but..."

…rself in case your idea is awful. I do that sometimes. But instead, if you must say something, say “I’m not sure, but…” or “this is just brainstorming” or “just thinking out loud.” These aren’t as bad.
