I don’t hugely disagree — I move around every 3–5 years myself! But as someone who’s also interviewed and hired *hundreds* of people, sometimes when we see extensive transitions as part of someone’s work history, we paint a picture before even meeting them. With equal experience in front of a hiring manager, they’re likely to go with the candidate with longer tenures — it can cost a company up to nine months of an employees salary to replace them, and added up, that cost can be a great burden for an organization.
