Who knew making a cup of tea could be such a disaster?
I was thrilled to roll out of bed last Sunday and saunter to the kitchen for my first cup of coffee. But of course, first, I did my morning Internet doomscroll… and I’m really grateful I did.
Before even arising from the sheets, I was informed about the 29 ways I was incorrectly planning to make the bed!
Once in the kitchen, I vividly remembered another 44-point article informing me how poorly I was, in fact, brewing my coffee. Evidently, there were several steps I was leaving out between scooping the java and putting it into the coffee maker.
Silly me.
Next was a short trip to the store to pick up supplies. But while I was putting on my shoes, I noticed how badly I had been tying my shoelaces — until I remembered reading You’ve Been Tying Your Shoes Wrong for Years, Here’s Why. It informed a six-step improvement process that does away with the age-old loop-one-loop-two-now-you-can-tie-the-shoe, bunny-ear fiasco.
